Claude 'Lee' Sirry Jr.

Claude Lee Sirry, Jr., 54, of Catawba, Va., passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Lee was a wonderful son, brother, husband, and father who loved his grandbabies very much and definitely adored his grand-dog. His hobbies included fishing, farming, and talking as he never met a stranger. Preceding him in death was his father, Claude Lee Sirry, Sr.; father-in-law, Neil Richardson; brother-in-law, Lewis Alls; and son-in-law, Chris Bradley. His surviving family includes his mother, Rita Sirry; wife of 34 years, Tammy Sirry; children, Claude Lee (C.L.) Sirry III and girlfriend, Jessica Zimmerman, Erica Sirry, Megan Sirry Bradley, Katherine Sirry Musselman and husband, Rodney, and Jacob Sirry and girlfriend, Samantha Carper; grandchildren, Lily Strickland, Edward Bradley, and Brianna Strickland; siblings, Sarah Alls and husband, Richard, Jane Alls, Karen Stull and husband, Craig, and Kerry Sirry; mother-in-law, Faye Richardson; cousin, Steve Stevens; good friends, Lewis Pauley and wife, Sue; and the many friends who were a part of his work family. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, also in the chapel, with Rev. Jim Morris officiating.
