Clarice Keeling Pauley, 90, of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was a woman who enjoyed flowers and bird watching, loved learning, and whose life centered on her faith and family. Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph Arnold and Ethel Smith Keeling; husband of 64 years, Everett Lyle Pauley; and brother, Norris Keeling. Her surviving family includes her son, Richard L. Pauley and wife, Sandra, of Buchanan; daughter, Charlotte P. Sellers and husband, Jim, of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Carrie Kirk and husband, Gary, J. Andrew Pauley and wife, Polly, Michael Pauley, Robert Pauley and wife, Maxine, Christopher Sellers, and Cameron Sellers; and 5 great-grandchildren. A period of visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the funeral homes chapel. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. The Rev. Gary W. McCoy and the Rev. J.
