Clarice Walker Ellison

Clarice Walker Ellison, 83, of Salem, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, August 22, 2016. She passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side. Family left to cherish her memory are daughters, Sabrina Radford, Rebecca Cary, Connie Torres, Sue Patrick, and Mary Odom; and sons, Vernon Simmon and Richard Ellison. She was blessed with ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was also blessed with many friends and co-workers whom she loved very much, and was very grateful for their continued love and support during her illness. The only words to accurately describe this wonderful woman and mother can be found in Proverbs 31:10-31. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 6 until 8 pm at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service to honor Clarices life will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Elder Thomas Mann officiating.
