Christopher Bertrum Perry

Christopher B. Perry, 30, of Roanoke passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012. He was born in Denver, Colorado and had also resided in New York prior to locating to the Roanoke area over 12 years ago. An aspiring and talented artist, he worked as a chef and had planned on one day operating his own restaurant. He is survived by his son, Christian Perry; sister Tish Minnix; two nieces, Olivia and Julia Minnix; a nephew, Nate Minnix; his partner James Blackburn, and Wendy Phillips, his long time friend and sons mother. A graveside service will be held at 11AM, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Mt. View Cemetery, Vinton. Pastor David Workman will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM, Friday at John M.
