Christopher Lynn Crotts

Chris Crotts, 29, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2014 and is now at peace. Chris was a graduate from Salem High school, and continued his education at ECPI graduating with an Information Technology degree, as he thoroughly enjoyed working on computers. He was a faithful and dedicated employee of Pizza Hut for numerous years and was previously employed by Best Buy. Family traditions were most important to Chris, as it was always a must to be included in the cutting of the family Christmas tree each year. He loved spending time with family during any occasion however, fishing and camping were always a favorite time with family for Chris. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Nadine Crotts, of Salem, and Elmer and Vivian Nolen, of Roanoke. Our beloved son will be missed and forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends. Family remaining to cherish his memory includes his parents, Ricky and Christy Crotts, of Salem; brother, Daniel Crotts, of Salem, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services to honor Chriss life will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at John M. Oakey & Son funeral home in Salem. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
