Christopher Bradley, 22, of Catawba, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014. Chris was born in Roanoke, a son to Ira and Janice Bradley. Chris is preceded in death by grandmother, Marie Coleman; and grandfathers, Melvin Wilhelm, and Ira Bradley Sr. Chris was employed at ALSCO as a driver and was known to be a very hard worker, someone you could count on and was always ready to help those who needed help, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, he had a happy go lucky attitude, Chris will be remembered most for being a wonderful husband and a excellent father. Along with his parents Chris leaves behind his wife, Megan Bradley; son, Edward Bradley (little man); brother, William Bradley and fiance, Kayla Janney; sister, Jennifer Bradley; father in-law, Lee Sirry; mother-in-law, Tammy Sirry; sisters in-law, Katie Sirry, and Erica Sirry; brothers in-law, C.L. Sirry and Jacob Sirry; niece, Lily Strickland; and grandmother, Clara Bradley; special friends, Dennis Shields and Chris Sayers; along with a host of other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service to honor the life of Christopher Bradley will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the funeral homes chapel with the Reverend Roy Kanode officiating.
