Christina (Chrissy) Holdren, 50, of Salem, was taken home by her angels on Friday, December 5, 2014, after a troublesome battle with cancer.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 24 years, Mikey; daughter and caretaker, Amanda and husband Damien Wright; granddaughters, Brooke and Aliyah; mother, Betty Pugh and James Eggars; brother, Tony Malone; sister and caretakers, Dawn and Travis Lane; father, Jerry Canaday; sister, Debra Crowley; uncle, Billy Gayle; mother in law, Louise Holdren; sister in law, Terry and Mike Call; and brothers in law, Roger and Lewis.
Employed at Skyline Cleaners over 27 years, she had a heart of gold and loved everyone.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Adrian Dowell officiating. Interment will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Salem.
