Charlotte Marie Hall

Charlotte Marie Farris Hall, 82 of Salem, VA, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Born on Wednesday, June 30, 1943, in Roanoke, Va, to the late William Edward Farris and Mary Elizabeth Stover Farris.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Wheat, and her two children; sisters, Lorraine Carroll, Lois Farris, Martha Roop, and Jean Roberts; and brothers, Jack Farris and Curtis Farris. 

Those left to cherish her memory include: Sue Reedy, Kathy Carter, Russell Farris, Clarence Farris, Karen Stout (Tony), Charles Hall III, Robert Hall, Donald Hall, twelve grandkids, eighteen great-grandkids, and three great-great-grandkids. 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, Virginia, with Steve Parker officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
