Charlotte Beatrice Anderson

A new star shines bright in Heaven today as Charlotte Beatrice Anderson, of Roanoke, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2014 at the age of 69. She was a good hearted person who loved her family, especially her children. She has always been a lover of animals, with one being in her life at all times. She is preceded in death by her son, Charles Elkins, and parents, Ernest and Annabell Ramey. Family remaining to cherish her memory includes her son, Jeffrey L. Elkins and girlfriend, Sheila; sister, Barbara Church and husband, Roger, and a brother, Tracy Ramey and wife, Pam. A celebration of Charlottes life will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 6 until 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.
