Charles Steven Wilburn

Charles Steve Wilburn, 62, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014. He was born in Giles County, a son of the late Charles F. Wilburn and Pauline Merrix Wilburn and had been a Salem area resident most of his life. Steve was currently employed for the past 38 years as a fabricator with Concrete Pipe and Products. A loving husband, dad and grandfather, he was always willing to help others before himself. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Esther Mills Wilburn; two daughters, Rachel Wilburn, and Elizabeth Smith and her husband Mike; a son, Trent Wilburn; three grandchildren, Jourdan, Austin and Peyton; a brother, Robert Wilburn; sister, Pamela Tuck, and several brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and tons of friends. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Friday, July 4, 2014 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem. Rev. Don Baldwin will officiate.
