Charles Benjamin 'Goat' Scott

Charles (Goat) Scott, of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the age of 37. Known for his love of music and for being a skilled and talented drummer, Charles is survived by his wife, Sarah; parents, Johnny and Pam Scott, Franklin Co.; brothers, Brian Scott, Roanoke, and Zak Scott (Sonja), Glen Allen, VA; mother and father-in-law, John and Patsy Ferguson, Roanoke; five step children, one being his little baboon; as well as one niece and three nephews. Visitation will take place from 5 until 8 pm, Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
