Charles Eugene Nichols

Charles Eugene Nichols, 91, of Covington, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012. He was Owner of the Insurance Center in Covington, and was a longtime member of Covington Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were his wife of 67 years, Marge Nichols; 5 brothers; and 1 sister. His surviving family includes his children, Becky Bower of Salem, Susan Griffith of Elizabeth City, NC, and Joel Nichols and his wife, Christy, of Roanoke; grandchildren, Chase Bower, Austin Griffith, Matthew Griffith, Sally Lauren Nichols Eaton, Merritt Nichols, and Mary Kellen Nichols; and 8 great-grandchildren.
