Charles Merrell Kendrick., Sr.

Charles M. Kendrick, Sr., 71, of Salem, Va known affectionately as Charlie went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

Born in Logan, WV to the late George M. Kendrick and Tennessee Phipps Kendrick.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Robert Kendrick; and granddaughter, Rayna Kendrick.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Leah L. Kendrick; sons, Charles M. Kendrick, Jr (Sara), and Robert G. Kendrick; siblings, Roy Kendrick (Sandy), Sue Riggle (Bob), Ronnie Kendrick (Jennifer), Pat Phillips (Jon), Tammy Mullins (Carroll); and his grandchildren, Travis, Kaylee, Tyler, Lillie, and Emma.

A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 7 p.m. at The Living Well Church in Salem, Virginia.

A visitation period will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. preceding the service.
