Charles Roger 'Butch' Charlton

Charles Butch Roger Charlton, 64, of Salem, VA died Saturday, December 11, 2010. He was born June 15, 1946 in Hinton, WV to Glenna Maxine Charlton and the late Ward Charlton. Mr. Charlton was a Quality Manager for Steel Dynamics for 40 years. He enjoyed skydiving with his son and completed over 1600 jumps. He is survived by his mother, Glenna Baw Maxine Charlton; son, Jonathan Eric Charlton; brother, Gary and a sister, Glenna. At the request of Mr. Charlton there will be no services. His ashes will be scattered during freefall by his son at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
