Charles William Bingman, 71, of Salem, and formerly of Montvale, Va., passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. Per the familys request, there will be no services at this time. Charles William Bingman, 71, of Salem, and formerly of Montvale, Va., passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022. Born on February 28, 1950, in North Carolina, to the late Leonard and Alma Hundley Bingman. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon Bingman as well as brothers, Johnny Bingman and Ronnie Bingman. Charles made a career as a lineman, providing power and telecommunications throughout the Roanoke Valley and surrounding communities with Davis H. Elliott for many years before his health declined. An avid hunter and fisherman, he greatly enjoyed spending time outdoors. Above all, he adored his wife who so lovingly was devoted to his care. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Judith Kirk Bingman; son, Jason Bingman and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Brooke, Cheyenne, Dakota, and Blaze; brother, Richard Bingman and wife, Marlene.
