Carolyn Lou Zimmers, age 70, passed away on June 21, 2024. She was born on July 8, 1953, in Virginia, The beloved daughter of Katie Louise Walker and Edward Carl Walker. Carolyn was a loving and devoted mother to her sons, Stephen Patterson Zimmers, and Daniel Matthew Zimmers; she cherished her role as grandmother to, Emily Marie Zimmers, Amber Zimmers, and Christopher Zimmers; two brothers, Jeffrey Walker and wife, Doray, and Michael Walker and wife, Becky; nephews, Michael Shane Walker and his spouse, Chelsie, Jeremiah Walker, and Joshua Walker, and great-nephew, Wyatt Walker. Throughout her life, Carolyn touched the hearts of many with her kindness and generosity. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
