Carol Ann Rowe

Carol Ann Rowe, 82, of Salem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on November 24, 1940, to the late Jack H. and Arlene Brand Jones, and it was there where she spent her childhood. Carol attended the University of Akron from which she earned a bachelors degree and would begin a career as an educator, touching the lives of many young people during her tenure. Carol was a faithful member of College Lutheran Church in Salem and greatly enjoyed singing in the choir and serving and volunteering with their many opportunities for outreach. Above all, she adored her family; she will be greatly missed. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Nathaniel Beck and his wife, Heather; daughter, Victoria Beck; grandchildren, Emma, Eva, and Lincoln, as well as her brother, Dr. Jack Jones. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at College Lutheran Church, 210 S. College Avenue, Salem.
