Carla Grace Semones

Carla Grace Semones, 32, of Salem, passed away March 8, 2015. She is survived by her beloved, son, Ian; devoted husband, Luke Mullins; stepchildren Brynne and Cooper; mother, Beth Semones; sisters, Sophy Semones, April Griffin (Blair) and Sommer Humphries (John); brother, Si Semones; nephews, Peyton, Wyatt, Emmett, Leland, Tucker and Sully; niece, Carlyle; grandmothers, Ernestine Ham and Dorcie Semones; and a host of cousins, friends and loyal clientele. She is predeceased by her father, Howard Mooch Semones, and grandfathers James Ham and Grover Semones. Carla was a lifelong Salem resident. She was admired for her free spirit and compassion for all she knew, including several rescue and stray animals. Her passion for beautifying and uplifting others is evidenced by the success of her salon, Roots, and the hundreds of happy customers she served. Carlas tender heart nurtured many; she dedicated her short life to the happiness of others so often putting their needs before her own. Carla will forever be in our hearts.
