Calvin Houston Williams

Calvin Houston Williams, Sr., 86 of Salem passed away Friday, November 4, 2011, and has gone to join his wife of 60 years, Florence and daughter Lalia (Lee) Cox. He is survived by his loving family; sons and spouses, Calvin H., Jr., CH, & Barbara Williams, J.D., & Cindy Williams, Gary, & Jean Williams, Eddie and Elaine Williams, and Randy, & Lisa Williams; daughter and spouse, Rowena, & Terry Epperly. Other survivors include a sister, Mary Williams; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Wendell Cox. A special thanks to the staff at Joseph C. Thomas Center at Richfield for your care and dedication. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, November 7, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Eric Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem.
