Calvin Glenn Hall

Calvin Glenn Hall, 60, of Lafayette, VA went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2011. He was born June 8, 1950 in Lafayette, VA. Glenn was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. All who knew him will miss his big laugh, fun stories and willingness to help. He was preceded in death by his parents, L. W. and Josephine Hall. Glenn leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Connie Sue and children, Carey and Robert Peerman and grandson, Thomas and Erin and Shon Nadeau; his brothers and sisters, James Hall (Doris), Charlotte Smith, HC Hall, Linda Sarver (Mike), Richard Hall (Barbara), Debbie Garrett (Gordon), GG Hall, Garland Atkinson, Howard Atkinson (Linda), Jack Atkinson (Betty), Vivian Semones (Dale), Mack Atkinson, Dick Atkinson (Kay), Phyllis Epperly (James), Allen Atkinson (Corrine), and Debbie Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn was an accomplished carpenter and mechanic and loved cars, animals and life. He had been a truck driver his whole life and will be missed by his Kroger family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 1, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday, June 2, 2011 in the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Rev. Dan Netting officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
