Bret Haliday Oyler

Bret H. Oyler, 54, of Salem, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021, at his residence. Bret was born May 15, 1966 in Washington D.C. to Trina Campbell Moreland and the late John M. Oyler. Music was life to Bret and his radio dial was always tuned in to heavy metal. A friend to everyone, Bret would help anyone that needed a helping hand. He adored his children and deeply loved his wife and mom. Bret enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest as often as possible -- he was a great soul! Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 21 years, Amanda Lucado Oyler; daughters, Zinnia Oyler, Allison Oyler, and Maisy Oyler, son, Max Oyler; mother, Trina Campbell Moreland; brother, Joel Oyler; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
