Boyce Charles (Charlie) Oliver, 68, of Elliston, went to be with the Lord and his mom on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyce Landon Oliver and Letha M. Justice; and brothers, Jessie Frank Oliver and Ricky Lee Oliver. His surviving family includes his wife, Gaye Ann Oliver; children, Janena and Vanessa; 3 step-children, Brenda, Wayne, and Tracy; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Williams and husband, Gary, Donald R. Oliver, Sr., Norman E. Oliver, Kathy M. Mills and husband, Roger, and Ronnie W. Oliver; and special friend, Johnny Greenway. A period of visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A graveside service will then be held at 11 a.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park with Chaplain Dave Vanderpool officiating. The Oliver family is being served by John M.
