Bonnie Miles Spence

Bonnie Miles Spence, 70, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 21, 2011. She thoroughly enjoyed providing childcare to numerous kids in her home, was a diehard Hokies fan, and loved her family and friends very much. Preceding her in death were her parents, Frank and Letha Miles; and a sister, Helen Fagg. Her surviving family includes her sons, Keith Spence and Kevin Spence and wife, Kristi; brother, James L. Miles and wife, Connie; sister, Peggy Gardner and husband, Willie; grandchildren, Madison Spence, Owen Spence, and Kylind Spence; and a special cousin, Margaret Nichols. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. The Rev. Joe Copolo will officiate.
