Bonnie Dawn Flagg

Bonnie Dawn Flagg, 73 of Salem, VA, and formerly of Florence, Kentucky passed away peacefully, on Monday, July 3, 2023. Born to the late Homer H. Flagg and Inez Gibbs Flagg in Covington, KY on Sunday, October 23, 1949. Bonnie had many passions including reading, gardening, and adding to her enormous elephant collection. Additionally, she had an unspoken role as a food critic and savored delicious food. Her grandchildren had a special place in her heart, and she cherished them dearly. Bonnie was a long-time member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help located in Salem, Va. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Shona Schulkers (Scott); her siblings, George Flagg (Carolyn), and Cherry Richardson; grandchildren, Noah Schulkers, and Lucas Schulkers, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. Services for Bonnie will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Rev. Danny Cogut will officiate.
