Batya Miriam (Bobbie Harris), 85, of Franklin County, passed away with the kiss of HASHEM on Sunday, August 23, 2015. She was the most giving woman to anyone she came in contact with. She always made people smile with her kindness and thoughtfulness. She was an amazing mother and a hero to her daughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruby Oldham; husband, Nolan Price; and her sisters and brother. Family left to cherish her memory include her beloved daughters, Rhonda Dortch and husband DeWayne, and Linda Stevens; cherished grandchildren, Angela Behn, Joseph Zachary Snyder, Kandice and Kristopher Miller, and Klinton Stevens; and great-grandchildren, Evan and Joshua Behn, Dessa, Daxton, and Dakota Snyder, and Ashley and Tyler Walton. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Beth Israel Cemetery in Roanoke. Please omit flowers in accordance to Jewish tradition. Family will observe Shiva at the Dortch residence. Maariv Minyan this Wednesday and Thursday, 8 pm, at Beth Israel Shul. The family is being served by John M.
