Bishop Keanu
Jackson
Mar 14, 1998 — Jun 19, 2026
Bishop Keanu Jackson, 28 of Roanoke, was reunited with loved ones gone before on Friday, June 19, 2026.
He was born on March 14, 1998. From a young age, Bishop loved sports of all kinds, football probably being his favorite. He was a graduate of James River High School where numerous friendships were made. Bishop enjoyed family gatherings and certainly enjoyed riding his motorcycle, but his life was forever changed at the birth of his daughter, Isabella. She was the apple of his eye.
While his passing will certainly leave a void in the hearts of his family and friends, his spirit will remain within them all to carry out.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray “Bunz” Ramirez.
Family remaining to cherish Bishop’s memory include the mother of his beloved Isabella, Brianna Hanna; daughter, Isabella Jackson; father, Daryl Jones; adopted parents, Tina and Scott Ramirez; sons that he considered his own, Kaysen and Karsen; sister and dearest friend, Kaylie Bartlett (Trent Roberson); sister, Tyler Ramirez; brothers, Daryl Jones, Justin Ramirez and fiancée, Aliya Starkey, Jacob Ramirez, and Jeremy Ramirez; nieces, Vaylah and Mylah Roberson, and Maelyn Ramirez; nephew, Michael Ramirez; and numerous friends.
The family will welcome friends for a period of visitation on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, in Salem.
A Celebration of Bishop’s life will be held directly following the visitation on Sunday, starting at 2:00 p.m., in the funeral home’s chapel. Pastor Daniel Palmer will officiate.
