Betty Fisher Weaver

Betty Fisher Weaver, 69, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by parents, George and Minnie Fisher; and siblings, Everett Fisher, Della Schmidt, Minnie Ward, and Lucille Wampler. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ernie Weaver; sons, Eric Weaver and wife, Melissa, and Aaron Weaver and wife, Krista; sister, Shirley Anderson; brothers, Walter Fisher and Don Fisher; grandchildren, Brooke, Nolan, Neddy, Jasper, and Lily Weaver; special niece, Debbie Blevins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was a loving wife and mother who cherished her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends. A period of visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019, at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at the funeral home with a committal to follow at 3 p.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Marion, VA. First Visitation
