Betty Lee Thomas

Betty Lee Thomas, 90, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was born in Jonesboro, Tenn., and was a 1943 graduate of Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tenn. Betty was a gifted pianist. Her happiest moments were bringing pleasure through music to many residents at several local nursing homes. Her surviving family includes her husband, Calvin W. Thomas; son, Randall Thomas and wife, Diana; daughter, Janet McCormick and husband, Michael; granddaughter, Meghan; and siblings, Nadine Lee Hurd and Carl W. Lee, Jr., both of Roanoke.
