Betty Stokes Sublett, 86, of Salem and Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 7, 2016. Predeceased by first husband, Jay Brogan Stokes and second husband, Rev. Herbert Sublett. Left to cherish her memory are her childern, Patricia Brown of Salem, David Stokes (Diana) of Salem and Roanoke, and Daniel Stokes (Jeanette) of Henderson, Nev.; and grandchildern, Robin, Michael, and Kalley. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016 at Sherwood Memorial Park with the Rev. David Keaton officating. The Sublett family is being served by John M.
