Betty Lois Lilly

Betty Lois Lilly, 78, of Salem and formerly of West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 13, 2014. She was born on October 15, 1936 to the late Creed and Linda Louvene Bryant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lilly; brothers, Gene and Lucky Bryant; and sisters, Hedy Gunter and Sara Jane Whitfield. Betty enjoyed watching her soap operas and doing crossword puzzles. She loved animals very much. She will be greatly missed. Family left to cherish her memory include her sons; Johnny and Jackie Lilly; brother, William Bryant and wife Joyce; sister, Mary Basham; sister-in-law, Edith Bryant; granddaughter, Brooke Lilly; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service to honor Bettys life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, with Pastor E.R. Woods officiating.
