Betty Juanita White Hull, 73 of Salem, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 14, 2012. She was born on May 9, 1939 in Salem, to the late Carlie Montgomery White & Flossie Juanita Boothe White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carl Hartberger; and brother, David White. Mrs. Hull was a faithful member to the Temple Baptist Church in Salem. She was devoted to her Lord and trusted Jesus with her whole being and soul. She loved crocheting and working with ceramics, but she will be remembered most for the love and care she gave as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Arthur Robert Hull, Sr.; sons, Wayne Hull and wife, Lillian, and Bobby Hull and wife, Donna; daughter, Connie Atkins and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Carmen Hull, Robert Hull, Monica Hull, Katherine Atkins, and John Atkins; brothers, Robert Lee White and wife, Peggy, and Kenny White and wife Carol; sister Carolyn Lewis. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012 in the Abby at Sherwood Memorial Park also located in Salem.
