Bettie Ann Spradlin

Bettie Ann Farris Spradlin, 40, of Roanoke and formerly of Salem, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 after an illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Duncan B. Farris; her sister, Carol Riddlebarger; and a special aunt and uncle, Robert and Francis McMackel. She is survived by her loving husband, Terry; her daughter, Alesia (Alley); two sons, Christopher Farris and Christopher Spradlin; mother, Margaret Louise Farris; two sisters, Linda Brown and Sandra Lafon and husband, Kenny; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friends at Hardees. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 5 until 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the funeral homes chapel with Kathy Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem.
