Beatrice Augusta Duncan

Beatrice A. Duncan Beatrice Augusta Duncan, 90 of Salem passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012. She was born in Lafayette, Va. to the late David Ernest Duncan and Stella Gai Duncan. She was a long time member of the Lafayette United Methodist Church in Lafayette, Va., and will truly be missed by all who loved her. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Maynard Duncan; sister Kathleen Duncan Collins, and a niece, Doris Ann Weaver. Surviving to cherish her memory are her nephews Mike Collins and fianc Pamela Seldomridge, Kenneth Collins and wife Phyllis, and Ernest Collins and wife Donna. Numerous great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Gardens in Roanoke. The family will receive friends form 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.
