Barbara Ann Miller

Barbara Ann Miller, 71, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. She was born in Montgomery County a daughter of the late Henry Clay Miller and Evelyn Young Miller and had been an area resident most of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son James Henry Little Jimmy Hale, III, three brothers, Alfred Miller, Henry Miller and Shirley Miller, and by two sisters, Doris Willis and Phyllis Smith. She is survived by a son Gary Letcher; four daughters, Sherry Taylor and her husband Terry, Cindy Burford and her husband Tim, Debbie Kendrick and her husband Kelly, and Tammy Hale; a brother, Robert Miller and his wife Bonnie, her sister, Betsy Linkous and her husband Taylor, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2PM, Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. The Revs. Craig Tackett and Randy Hullett will officiate. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
