Audrey Dickerson

Audrey Mae Dickerson, age 78, of Shawsville, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 8, 2018 surrounded by her family. Born on Thursday, August 3, 1939 to the late William and Ocie Conner. Audrey loved Elvis! She was a loving; mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her children, Connie Hale and husband, Michael, Harold Dickerson and wife, Tina, Steven Martin, and Barbara Abbott; grandchildren, Kimberly Hale, Katie Gaylor and husband, Travis, Melissa Stafford and husband, Eric, Michael Hale, Jr., Matthew Abbott, Jennifer McClelland, Rebecca Dickerson, Christopher Dickerson, Joseph Genovese: great grandchildren, James Whittaker, Jr., Dylan Whorley, Nicholas Whorley, Joshua Whorley, Jayden Gaylor, and many others; sister, Kay Gravell; brother, Wesley Conner; niece, Linda Trail; nephews, David and Chris Gravell. A celebration of life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, VA.
