Audra Murray Wells

Audra Murray Wells, 76, of Salem, went peacefully on Friday, June 4, 2010. She was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force and was retired from the Postal Service after 24 years of service. Her surviving family includes her children, Samson Wells and wife, Nina, Jonathan Wells and wife, Deborah, Mary Hannah and husband, William, and William Wells and wife, Donna; adopted daughter, Joyce Bryant and husband, Eugene; sister, Dorothy Meador; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Periods of visitation will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the funeral homes chapel. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. The Rev. Roy Mitchem will officiate.
