Arthur Robert Hull Sr.

Arthur Robert Hull, Sr., 80, of Salem, entered into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, December 4, 2014. He was born on January 15, 1934 to the late Guy and Laura Reynolds Hull. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Betty Juanita White Hull. Mr. Hull liked to garden, enjoyed racing, and loved to work. But above all he loved his family and loved the Lord. He was a proud member of Temple Baptist Church. He will be remembered always as a loving husband and a great father and grandpa. Family left to cherish his memory include his children, Wayne Hull and wife Becky; Bobby Hull and wife Donna, and Connie Atkins and husband Steve; siblings, Gene Hull and Martha Holmes; grandchildren, Carmen, Robert, Monica, Katherine, and John; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 6 until 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. Funeral services to honor Roberts life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Greg Irby officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
