Anthony Joseph 'A.J.' Trovata Sr.

Anthony (A.J.) Trovata, Sr., 32, of Shawsville, Va., passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. His surviving family includes his parents, Joey A. and Charlene A. Trovata; wife, Aleah J. Trovata; children, Anthony J. Trovata, Jr. and Ava J. Trovata; brothers, Joseph Smith and wife, Lori, and Jack A. Smith, Sr. and wife, Melissa; a niece and several nephews; and many other loving family members. A gathering of friends and family will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A memorial service will then begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Randall (Hooter) Horton officiating.
