Ann Shirleen Crum

While our hearts are heavy with the unexpected departure of our mother, we are rejoicing in the knowledge that she loved the Lord and has gone to be with Him in Heaven where her feet are dancing and her eyes see clearly. She has joined loved ones departed already, like her mother Elsie Olga Szakal and Ron Harvey. Ann leaves behind her children, Joanna Hampton, Michael Wheeler Crum, Jr., Allan Wayne Crum, and Michelle Saunders; their father, Michael Crum; along with her other loving family members, Dug Hampton, Angie Crum, Catherine Tyre Stika, Linzy Saunders, and Amber Carrasco. Her heart was big with love for her grandchildren, all those who claimed her as Grandma: Nathanael and Autumn Crum, Joe McCloud, Zach Lawson, Katie Crum, Stormy Eanes, Maggie Crum, Alesha Saunders, Jason Hampton, Little Linzy, Angelique, Stormie, Chasity, Johnathan , LJ, Braylen, Nathan, Hartley, Tucker, and Jackson. She is also survived by her siblings Tina Joya, Frank Ronald, and John Robert Szakal , as well as their children and extended family members. A Memorial service is going to be held this Saturday morning, January 30, 2016, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at New Covenant Assembly of God, 2922 King St NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.
