Angela Star Davis

Angela (Angie) Star Davis, 62, of Roanoke County, Virginia, went to be with the Lord while surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Born in Roanoke, Va., on June 4, 1963, to the late Wayne R. and Joan C. Davis, she is also preceded in death by her grandparents, James R. and Minnie A. Sledd and Robert C. and Anna L. Davis; niece, Joan Spencer; brother-in-law, Bobby Bennett; uncles, James Sledd, Jr., Kenneth Sledd, William Sledd, Robert Lamb, Garland Davis, Frank Davis, Pete Rice, Emory Jones and Joe Davis; aunts, Brenda Bryant, Debbie Davis and Sue Davis; cousins, William Sledd, Jr., John Davis and Jay Jones.

Angie was a lifetime member of Masons Cove Chapel and adored her church family. She loved to sing, especially in her church choir. Family was her top priority, and she enjoyed quality time with her grandson, Gatlin and her daughter, Candice, who were the lights of her life. Angie was a proud aunt and enjoyed attending her nephew, Jonah's choir concerts and listening to him play guitar and sing. She was a good mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter, Candice Bryant and partner, Brian Tice; grandson, Gatlin Bryant; sister, Cherie Davis; nephew, Jonah Spencer; step-grandchildren, Kalyssa Tice and Keaton Tice; step great-granddaughter, Ryker Perdue; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; as well as special friends, Johnny Haskins and Latisha Jackson.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Masons Cove Chapel, 3907 Old Catawba Road, Salem. Funeral Services will be conducted beginning at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Sonny Miller officiating. Interment immediately following in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
