Alwin Brent Clinevell

Brent Clinevell, 71, of Salem, Va., left the stage of this lifes show on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. He was born on April 8, 1952, to the late Al and Helena Clinevell. Brent gave his life to entertaining everyone that would let him! He was a friend to all that he crossed paths with. Throughout his life from the age of 18, Brent founded several bands in the Roanoke Valley. Throughout his career, Brent performed for audiences everywhere along the East Coast. He is survived by his sister, Corkie Anderson and husband, Art; nephew, Drake Anderson and wife, Wendy; niece, Carrie Anderson; great-niece, Lindsay Henderson and husband, Colton; great-great-niece, Nori Henderson; special friend, Doug Settles; as well as numerous friends everywhere. Friends are invited to visit with the family to remember Brent from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2023, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem, Va. The inurnment will be held privately with his family at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, Va. In honor of Brent, please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
