Alma Lee Elliott Willis

Alma Lee Elliott Willis, 93, of Salem, VA went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 19, 2010. She was born October 18, 1916 in Roanoke, VA daughter of the late Herbert Kent and Eunice Jones Elliot. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lowery Willis; daughter, Wilma Terry; granddaughter, Trudy Sutphin; brothers, Paul, Vaughn, Giles, Roy, Herbert and Ray Elliot; sisters, Virginia Brogan and Alene Gwilliams. Mrs. Willis retired from Maid-Bess as a supervisor with over forty years of service. She was a faithful and dedicated Charter member of Bethel Assembly of God in Salem. She is survived by a son, Albee Willis and wife, Betty of Richmond; daughters, Ann Lester and husband, Tom and Margie Lavinder and husband, Lyn both of Salem; sister, Vivian Likens and husband, Vernon; special nieces, Barbara Long and Alice Likens; special friend, Betty Sublett; special granddaughter, Misty Reyes; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Bethel Assembly of God, Salem with Rev. Ron Haggard officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
