Alfred Lee Levesy Sr.

Alfred L. Levesy, Sr., 64, of Roanoke, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2014. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Al was a caring and giving person with a big heart and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gertrude Taylor Levesy, and two brothers, Luther and Fred Levesy, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Robin DeHart Levesy; two sons, Gary Levesy and Alfred L. Levesy, Jr.; two brothers, James Levesy and Johnny Levesy and his wife Eunice; two sisters, Hazel Smith and Cathy Pugh and her husband Marvin; an aunt, Marie Kasey; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 2PM, Friday, February 21, 2014 at Sherwood Memorial Park.
