Obituary for Teresa "Tracy" Wickline Mills
Teresa “Tracy” Wickline Mills, 52, of Salem, VA went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
Tracy lived her life to serve Jesus. Sometimes a little stubborn but, she loved others fiercely. She always put those with needs before her own. Tracy was the co-founder and board member of Sunset Ministries located in Salem, VA.
Tracy was born Monday, June 29, 1970, to the late, Danny Ray Wickline and Linda M. Burris Harmon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her special friend, Connie Wertz; and granddaughter, Asenath Cooper. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Donald “Eugene” Mills Jr.; children, Stephenie Wyatt, Kasie Cooper (Thomas), Ethan Mills (Haley); sister, Dawn Denyse Turner; grandchildren, Leah Wyatt, Taelen Mills, Coltin Hypes, Anaya Cooper; numerous foster grandchildren; mother-in-law, Helen Mills; K-9 Companion, Kylee Mills; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, VA, with Pastor Chris Kingery officiating. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
