Shawn Patrick Goad, 48, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Born in Roanoke, VA, on March 30, 1974, ro the late Norma Goad, he is also preceded in death by his grandmother, Leonna Goad, as well as uncles, Robert Goad and Jeff Goad.
Shawn loved being outdoors and spending time on the riverbank fishing. He had an infectious laugh and was always joking around and pulling pranks.
Shawn is survived by his sons, Jessie Goad and wife, Hailey, of Roanoke, Gene Burchett and wife Chasity, of Roanoke; grandchildren, Leeland, Sadie, and Rainey; special aunt, Sandra Goad, as well as cousin, Eric Goad.
