Obituary for Robert L. "Bobby" Wills
Robert L. “Bob” Wills, 58, of Salem, Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
Bob held an all-state wrestling title in Salem, coached various recreational sports, and was a golf enthusiast. He was also a member of Fellowship Community Church.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Edward and Marie Booth and Lawrence E. Sr. and Louise Lilly Wills; and stepfather, Jerry Bailey, Sr.
His surviving family includes his mother, Janie B. Bailey; his father, Lawrence E. Wills, Jr.; his only son, Jonathan L. Wills and wife, Andrea R.; brother, Larry E. Wills; stepgranddaughter, Marissa R. Shires; granddaughter, Evelyn R. Wills; niece, Ashley Wills; stepbrother, Jerry Wayne Bailey, Jr. and wife, Amy; and stepsister, Angela Bailey Ewing and husband, Kevin.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Fellowship Community Church located at 1226 Red Lane Extension in Salem, Va. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ken Nienke officiating. Bob will be laid to rest at Sherwood Memorial Park.
