I grew up hearing stories about Bob and my Dad. My grandparents and the Lambert’s were neighbors and Bob and my Dad became best friends. Bob and my Dad played football together at Andrew Lewis. As the placque at MAC &BOB’S attests, Bob was a very good player.
My wife and I became friends with Bob and Edna and They made many trips to Pennsylvania for graduations, wedding, visits, and yes funerals. We loved Edna’s stories and Bob would laugh at all of them like it was the first time he had heard it. We viewed Bob and Edna as part of our family. (An important part) Bob, ole buddy, we are going to miss you. Say hello to Mom and Dad. RIP and We will never forget and will cherish the time we spent together.
As Edna always said upon leaving after a visit, Love ya

Robert was a wonderful person, kind, caring and humorous. He and Edna were a wonderful couple who shared life's joys and sorrows.
I am saddened by his passing, but am sure that he has gone on to a better place.

Mr. and Mrs Lambert and Betty live next door from our family on Forest Park Blvd.

Mr. Lambert was so helpful to our family after dad had his stroke. He was truly a kindhearted man!
