Robert “Froggie” Lamb, age 80 of Salem, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Born to the late Willie Edward Lamb and Annie Rosebell Greenway Lamb. In addition to his parents Froggie is preceded in death by his siblings, William “Sheep” Lamb, David “Dagwood” Lamb, and Frankie Lamb.

Froggie worked for Roanoke County Solid Waste as a truck driver for 30 plus years. After retirement he was able to have more time seeing the ocean, hunting, fishing, and camping with Barbara.

Left to cherish in his memory, wife Barbara Sledd Lamb; children, Lisa Lamb Green (Dwight), Annie Lamb Hodges (Kenneth), Terri Lamb, Robert Lamb (Patti); siblings, Geneva “Sissy” Anderson (Richard), Adena “Deny” Davis, Betty Gregg (Tommy); grandchildren, Samantha Minnix (Josh), and 3 additional grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gladys Lamb; friend, Mike Britt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, located in Salem, Va. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow to Cedar Lawn Memorial Park located in Roanoke Virginia.
