Obituary for Ann Howlett Thomas
Ann Howlett Thomas (Mora Ann) 73, of Salem, passed away on December 8, 2022. She is survived by Gary Thomas and her children, Debbie/Jeff Gee, Keith Thomas, Amy Clarke, Jodi Bishop and Heather/Lee Rider, plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
As a mother, wife, grandmother, and friend you could always count on her being available to listen to you. She gave and gave of herself. That was who she was.
A lover of pets, especially her longtime cat, Amos, she helped foster countless animals over the years. Always great with numbers, she started her own tax business and grew that into a career with the City of Salem where she worked as the Deputy Commissioner of Revenue before retiring. She was the rock of our family and will be greatly missed.
There will be a celebration of her life at a later time. Donations can be made to the Salem Animal Shelter.
