Obituary for Lottie Francisco Reynolds

Lottie Francisco Witt Reynolds, 94, of Salem, went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Lula B. and Charles Francisco. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Burney Edward Witt and James Schoolcraft Reynolds; her beloved granddaughter, Angie Alexander; sisters and their husbands, Beulah Campbell (Raymond), Eva Meadows (Herbert), Blanche Edwards (Robert) and Eula Simmons (Steve); brothers and their wives, Theodore Francisco (Geneva), Clayton (Hazel) Francisco, Charles (Eleanor) Francisco, and Jerry (Maxine) Francisco.

Left behind to celebrate her life and mourn her passing are her beloved children; daughter, Bonny J. Alexander; son and wife, Douglas (Herlinda) Witt of Salem; stepchildren, Barbara Hawks (James) and James Reynolds of Salem. Also surviving are her dear grandchildren and their spouses, Dana (Todd) Robertson, Jeffrey (Christine) Alexander, Edward (Veronica) Witt, Cristi (Brannon) Magee, Rachel Witt and Ellie Witt; her precious great-grandchildren, Aaron Atkins, Cody and Cayla Alexander, Landon, Alexis and Allison
Witt; many nephews, nieces and friends.

Lottie was a long-time member of Mason Cove Church of the Brethren and attended Greenhill Church of the Brethren. She is currently member of New Creation Ministries. Gospel music was a big part of her life and she found singing to be one of her greatest joys. She always had a song in her head and heart. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm at John M. Oakey and Son, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lottieā€™s name, may be made to New Creation Ministries, C/O Building Fund, 202 East 3rd St., Salem, Va. 24153.
